Lou was never involved in any combat. There were still a few Japanese hiding around Adak. The main trouble they had with them was when they would try to sneak into the chow lines. You could imagine the shock it was to receive these pictures. I thought they were so funny. Lynn's observation that his hair was 'a crew cut gone bad' was so true. I never even thought of that sixty four years ago. He certainly didn't look the guy I sent away. Leona
